Hello,
I tried to record myself with Audacity, but it didn't work.
I tried doing what was said to do here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pu … PulseAudio , but nothing.
By the way, running:
alsamixer -c 0
and un-muting the "Internal-mic" and raising the audio allows me to hear my microphone (also running xfce4-mixer and doing the same thing does the same thing)
Here are some commands that I saw others ask to be used on other threads and there outputs:
$ pacmd list-sources
2 source(s) available.

**** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices ****
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC269 Analog [ALC269 Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
running:
pavucontrol`
in the "Input Devices" are: "Build-in Audio" and "Monitor of Dummy Output".
I hope I can fix this because I need to fix this
----------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE:
I fixed it by running:
alsamixer
then pressing F4, and enabling "Capture" with the space key.
