GNU MediaGoblin on Arch Linux and processing audio?

Does anyone here run MG on an Arch Linux server? I've followed their wiki documentation on getting it set-up, but cannot get audio to process. I'm pretty confident I've followed every direction mentioned on their wiki (dependencies, adding the plugin, dbupdate). Pictures and videos work fine.

This is the ticket I made about it. These are the instructions for getting audio to work. And finally, this is the exact process I've tried on Arch Linux. I'm clueless as to what the problem could be, but surely someone somewhere has it working?
