Re: Intel Wireless 7260 errors

What driver did you install? How are you managing the connection? What is in the journal?

Re: Intel Wireless 7260 errors

Well, I didn't install any drivers. It uses linux-firmware drivers.
I am using NetworkManager.
In journalctl there is nothing associated with this problem.

Re: Intel Wireless 7260 errors

Give us the output of the following:

ip link
lspci | grep -i network
lsmod | grep -i intel
journalctl -xe

Also take a look at

systemctl -a

and check if there are any other wlan managers except networkmanager (such as wpa_supplicant or netctl). If yes, disable all but one, otherwise they interfere with each other.

Re: Intel Wireless 7260 errors

Does it randomly disconnect, stay disconnected for five to ten seconds, then connect again?

Re: Intel Wireless 7260 errors

Yeah, this actually might not be a Linux related issue, but Intel's problem. I have the same chip in my Windows laptop at work with the same issues. Windows is supposed to have some tricks up its sleeve to handle this, but nothing seems to work. It may be that changing your router's frequency to 5 gHz and reconnecting will help, but I have no way to test this, as my work router is 2,4 gHz only.

Props if someone finds a solution here though!

Re: Intel Wireless 7260 errors

But I think it is happening only when connecting to one wifi router...The rest is okay.

Re: Intel Wireless 7260 errors

Is it your router or owned by someone else?  It may need an update, replacement, or even a restart

Re: Intel Wireless 7260 errors

Well, it's router owned by provider. But I don't think it's router issue, because all other laptops are working well with this wifi...

Re: Intel Wireless 7260 errors

As a sanity check, what are the output of find /etc/systemd  ?

Each laptop has a different wifi card that is capable or incapable of many setups.  It may be not a router issue alltogether but the statement that "since all other laptops are connecting fine..." should not be the basis to ignore the router and double check the settings for maximum compatibility.

/etc/systemd/system/getty.target.wants
/etc/systemd/system/getty.target.wants/getty@tty1.service

Well,I now made a hotspot from my notebook and it works without crashing...
And in work it doesn't crash at all...
So it must be the router.
