Hello mates, I'm having a problem with my SATA HDD, it isn't recognized by BIOS, and dmesg says:

If it isn't recognised in the BIOS, then it is either faulty hardware, or else faulty firmware on the disk itself. There's usually* not much you can do about the latter (besides RMA-ing it, if applicable), but for the former you can try different SATA cables, different SATA ports on the motherboard, or a different power supply. Try the disk in another PC too, if it works there, but no combination of SATA ports/cables/powersupply works on your PC, then try updating your BIOS.
