Dell XPS 15. Buggy touchpad

Hi,

Dell XPS 15'', 9550. Linux 4.5.1-1, GNOME Shell 3.20.1, (not sure if does matter: linux-headers 4.5.1-1)

Touchpad is working a while after the fresh restart, then suddenly stops working. Either completely, or partially, like scrolling is ok but no clicks, for example. I guess the libinput is to blame, but I'm not sure. If I get it right, before switching to gnome 3.20, the Synaptics driver was used and everything was fine. The gnome 3.20 upgrade brought me a broken touchpad, so I proceed with xf86-input-libinput and now it's semi functional.

Was trying to "restart" the touchpad, by enabling/disabling via xinput, no luck. It gets disabled after "xinput disable" and then it's dead until the next reboot.  No other custom/patched drivers are used. Mouse is working just fine.

Thanks!
