DVDRIP missing "all internal command lines"

I've just installed DVDRIP and it bring this error of "all internal command lines" not installed, thus making it unusable.

I've googled about it, but all mentions to it date back to 2010-2011, and none provide a valid solution.

You've probably alrady seen the (old) bug report here: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/21553

Does creating the symlink mentioned in the comments there cause DVDRIP to function properly?

Is mplayer installed?
