For some unknown reason the keyboard on my T450s doesn't work in Arch Linux. I have to plug in an external USB keyboard.
Strangely though Fn+Space to enable the backlight does work!
The touchpad is working 100% fine after installing the xf86-input-synaptics driver.
Do I need to install any drivers for they keyboard? This isn't mentioned anywhere on the wiki page so I assumed this would "just work".

Another thing I discovered...
The brightness control keys work, I even get the OSD in KDE Plasma.
But I can't type anything in to a text field.

I installed xf86-input-libinput and works on my T450s
I love archlinux: the last STABLE kernel release + the last STABLE DE release + the last STABLE apps releases. The upstream developers decide what is STABLE.

I tried installing the xf86-input-libinput package but this only made the touchpad work strangely and didn't help with the keyboard so I removed it.
I figured out the problem - the keyboard works after manually modprobe-ing the atkbd module. I guess I need to add this to my modules-load.d list.
