It's been a while now. Lxpanel starts fine, then as I open an application it segfaults with
lxpanel[697]: segfault at 3 ip 00007f52c31a5521 sp 00007fff2a480b50 error 4 in libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0.3400.0[7f52c319d000+2c000]The culprit is the taskbar/window list applet: if I disable it the panel stops crashing, but then it's not the most comfortable set up, without knowing what windows are open.
Tried compiling it from sources, to no effect.
Is there a workaround for this, or an alternative taskbar to use with lxpanel?
I also tried replacing lxpanel with tint2. Works decently, but it doesn't seem to have a logout button or application menu, that's a bit... uhm.. annoying
