Hi newbie here and with Linux...
I installed the manager via yaourt. The manager and dependencies installed without any problems. Restarted the PC.
When I try to connect to it with the browser via port 8443 (as it should be) I got "localhost refused to connect".
I've noticed that the unifi service is not even running
Any tips appreciated. Please have in mind that I started with linux only recently, so please be rather specific with commands etc...
Thanks.

Hi
i've just had this pain as well and managed to get it up & working:
in terminal i typed 'yaourt -S unifi'
I didn't amend any package or add anything, I just clicked 'no' to any question asking me if i wanted to edit anything and 'yes' if i wanted to continue with the install.
once installed, check the status of the systemctl unifi service by typing 'systemctl status unifi'. it should say something like 'loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/unifi.service; disabled; vendor preset: disabled)'
now enable the service by typing 'systemctl enable unifi'. you'll ned to provide your password a couple of times.
reboot
now in a browser navigate to 'localhost:8443'
good luck
