So running
modprobe uinput
will not work after updating.
What it tells me:
modprobe: FATAL: Module uinput not found in directory /lib/modules/4.5.3-1-ARCH
Is this something I can fix or do I need to wait for an update or something?

reboot your system after a kernel update (and if this is a module from the AUR and/or selfbuilt, rebuild it after the reboot)
Your running kernel is different from the installed one, hence the running one won't find its modules, since it has been overwritten
