WINE Can't load Mono

I have WINE installed on my 64 bit install of Arch and I have the wine-mono package installed and it is version 0.0.8-1, I have other programs running that use wine-mono but for some reason this one won't run. When I start it via the console all I get it is: err:mscoree:load_mono Could not load Mono into this process.

Any idea how to fix this?

Re: WINE Can't load Mono

I tried working through wine and winetricks; and pulling out a number of older techniques to try to get improved direct X compatibility.   The short of it is that alot of the 64-bit processing for wine is not yet fully functional; and I suspect this is the cause for mono.

Not confirmed though.  I didn't try to re-install all the 32-bit versions to see if the same error occurred.  It's possible that wine-mono wasn't called correctly; or I missed some dependencies.

There are a number of instances from other distributions that have the same issue.
