Hi all!
I'm using XFCE (4.12) and thunar (1.6.10-3), kernel 4.5.4-1. I've mounted my private ftp folder via gvfs (1.28.2-1) and stored password into secret with help of gnome-keyring (1:3.20.0-1). Auto-login works fine but I've issue with file copy process to and from my attached folder. Whenever I try to upload some file to my ftp the copying of the first 65,5 Kb (as popup dialog says) occurs very slowly (possibly, freeze?) but after minute or two upload continues without any freezes with full available speed (in my case ~5Mb/s). If I try to upload next files all works good without any freezes. Sometimes the same occurs with downloading files from my ftp server, but with uploads it occurs much more frequently.
If I use Midnight Commander there no hangs or freezes (independent of transfer direction).
I have vsftpd (3.0.3-2) on my arch linux (4.4.11-1) server. I can't see anything interesting in the server and client logs. Google'ing didn't get anything helpful

Could be an issue with gvfs or the autologin .
Do you get the same behaviour if you login manually over gvfs ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Tried to upload file with manual login -- all seems good

Thats suggests the delay has to do with autologin, but it may also be between thunar and gnome-keyring .
Could you try autologin with other filemanagers (like nautilus ) ?
