smbpasswd errors (SOLVED)

I'm trying to set up samba using the wiki directions:
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Setting_up_Samba

However, when I try to execute the following:

smbpasswd -a SOMEUSER

I get the following error:

Failed to open group mapping database
failed to initiailize group mapping
Failed to open account policy database
Failed to open account policy database
Failed to open account policy database
Failed to open account policy database
Failed to open account policy database

Can anybody please point me in the right direction?

Re: smbpasswd errors (SOLVED)

I uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted the setup directions from scratch.  Seems to work now.  Not sure what the problem was.
