Hi, I'm trying to install arch in my acer aspire r14, wich has uefi. I want to make a dual boot with windows 10 and arch. When I boot arch from my usb, I can see the "root@archiso..." but immediately I see something like "failed to reset device" and then "Fixing recursive fault but reboot is needed" and then I cant do anything.
Pd: sry for my bad english

ok, thanks, but I try add acpi=off at the end of the parameters, and black screen

try adding in nomodeset after acpi=off if no luck try just nomodeset

with nomodeset: the same errors, with nomodeset and acpi=off: black screen

remove nomodeset and acpi=off and just add debug
lets see if you get any additional details before everything hangs. Also you may want to try to re-image your usb stick just in-case something is corrupt on it.

ok, I re-create my usb with rufus, and same errors. When I use debug:

ok. If you can get to the command prompt you are good to proceed with install. You can just blacklist i2c_hid if it causes you issues https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ke … acklisting
