issues compiling a kernel so that a baytrail tablet finds its hardware

My problem is while I can install arch on an HP Stream 7 baytrail tablet, It does not detect the built in hardware.

I have installed the driver, the rtl8723bs driver that did not work, I discovered a thread about the issues that I am probably having too but do not know
how to solve the issue: https://github.com/hadess/rtl8723bs/issues/20

What a gain from that thread is that I have to compile it with config_pinctrl edited and baytrail cpu setting set to 'y' and not 'n'

obviously, normal searching for the hardware with lsHW and a few other commands does not detect the hardware at all, it does not find the sound or bluetooth either.

the touch screens good though.
