Re: [SOLVED]Yakuake: How do I install a skin/theme

kde-look says:

Install
Download the skin archive from this page.
Open Yakuake configuration window and go to Appearance tab.
Click on Install Skin and browse to where you downloaded it.
Select it from the list of available skins and apply.

and if you are talking about color schemes for the terminal: those are actually konsole themes.

cp your_color_scheme.colorscheme ~/.kde4/share/apps/konsole

He hoped and prayed that there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here and merely hoped that there wasn't an afterlife.

Re: [SOLVED]Yakuake: How do I install a skin/theme

I went through this days ago so I thought it would be necessary to just add something.

Apparently Yakuake share the Profile with Konsole. So in order to install a Theme, aka Profile, just do it in the Konsole. To use it just right click to manage the theme using "Edit current profile". (Kindly remind you that Konsole ships with some basic theme already. Including my favorite Solarized theme.

To install a skin, I recommend you to do so in the Yakuake. Click the "Configure Yakuake", then install skin in the "Apearance" tab.
