I'm trying to install Arch on a LUKS-encrypted partition. The partitioning is very simple :
- a /boot partition
- a simple ext4 partition on LUKS
The installation seemed to be OK, and when I boot my computer, I have GRUB, and then I type my LUKS passphrase.
However after that nothing is done; the startup process does not begin. It is only printed :
/root: clean, 18…/15… files, 22…/ 60… blocks
[ 12.99] Bluetooth: hci0: Failed to send firmware data (-38)Whith the kernel option "rescue", I got an access to a shell and I saw that the partition was correctly decrypted and mounted.
My mkinitcpio hooks are : "base udev autodetect modconf block keyboard keymap encrypt filesystems fsck plymouth"
The GRUB options are : "rw quiet cryptdevice=/dev/sda2:cryptroot root=/dev/mapper/cryptroot"
What can be wrong in my installation ?

What is in the journal?

Do you mean what is in journalctl ? There is a lot of lines.

Yes, there are. Read it and work out what, if anything, is failing or broken...
Moving to NC.

I found nothing remarquable. Here are my last lines diplayed when I boot, after that, the screen freeze :

Sorry for bumping this but I am having the same problem and there is nothing in the journal. I even installed Arch to a second driver and I am having the same problem. The problem happens randomly with boot being successful most of the time.
