smtube uget plasma 5

Hi guys. I have been using Arch with Plasma 5 for a while. I have this app whose package name is smtube. It is sort of extension for Smplayer. A YouTube browser. In the new version of smtube (15 or so) they changed the way they did things. Now what you would do is right click the video you want to download, and you can click to open it with the downloading app. It works fine with command based downloaders. Such as youtube-dl, and wget. However, there is one called uGet that has been a bit of a pain to get working. In the smtube broweser, I can edit the command, and the parameters.

Here is the information for uGet:

Executable: uget-gtk
Parameters: --quiet --folder=/home/$HOME/Videos --filename=%f%u

Now, I have a theory that the issue is that I am trying to launch a gtk app over a Plasma enviornment. Does any body have any ideas? Thank you in advanced for your responses.

Re: smtube uget plasma 5

At the time of your forum post, uGet did not support downloading of YouTube videos at the moment though we are working on adding that functionality to a future release.
