[solved] Hostname revealed in Mutt's Message-ID

Can we configure mutt to not reveal one's hostname? There's this Debian bug report of 1997 with done: unkown.

Edited to add: There's a thread from 2002 in mail.mutt.user with a patch. Is that the best option to change the MID?

An ugly hack (with perhaps unintended side effects) is to force a hostname in your muttrc:

set hostname = bogus

Setting hostname in .muttrc successfully changes the MID (unaware of any side effects for now). Thanks!
