Video Game Interface Desktop Enviornment

I doubt this exists, but I guess it's worth asking anyways.

I'm trying to make my own Video Game system based off of Arch Linux (nothing I'm gonna sell. It's just a project). I was wondering if there is a Desktop Environment that is similar to the interface of say an Xbox One or Play Station. Something that looks like it's not made for a computer and is made for more of a gaming console interface. The closest thing I have right now is Gnome, which could work but it would need a lot of tweaking. Is there anything else?

There is SteamOS and Valve's Big Picture mode. But I have no idea if any of that is free or not.

EDIT: Like, you could figure out what DE SteamOS uses, and look into the controller UI from the big picture stuff.

I am diagnosed with bipolar disorder. As it turns out, what I thought was my greatest weakness is now my greatest strength.

Everyday, I make a conscious choice to overcome my challenges and my problems. It's not easy, but its better than the alternative...
