Can you post a diff or a patch for your clearlooks modifications ?

ehh, how can I use this file? not very familiar with filepatching....

Get the gtk-engines source code from gnome cvs, then from the gtk-engines base directory, run "patch -p0 </path/to/rezlooks.diff". Then build and install the modified code normally.

OK, it works here too. I just removed ~/.covers with database created by previous version of this plugin.

Anyway, another Openbox user here smile

I tried coveramazon from Qball's svn but it doesn't work.

Amazon plugin works great here as long as your music tags are correctly set (Artist/Album tags).

aye, it rocks, integrates better with gmail and google calendar than google's own homepage. I stumbled over it somehow and have been using it ever since, it's pretty damned impressive.

As for the title font, that's a ever continuing irritation for me, no aa fonts available, but I want a nice sans font. I should just install min-tab again and turn them off altogether.

Yeah, there was a time when I thought I was the only one using Openbox. But since I follow the screenshot-threads on the Arch forums I'm getting the feeling that more and more people start using Openbox, which indeed is quite nice!

And here's a screenie:

Water Vapor theme, Edge icons, "Stormy" wallpaper (found in this thread), xcompmgr for shadow effects. Be warned, image is 1.6 MB, no idea why - 'import' compresses PNGs as much as possible last I checked.

(Bizarrely, Water Vapor seems faster than Gray, no idea what's with that.)

I agree. You can even use lastfmproxy to listen to last.fm radio from any player that supports streams. (You control the songs and stuff through a web interface.)

Re: May 2006 Screenshots

I've added a rezlooks package on my repo.
Note that the better choice to install it is to sync with my repo because this link may change the first time I'll do an update to it.

http://www.webalice.it/cimi86/arch/i686 … pkg.tar.gz

It provides also other gtk engines "cvs" version.

Re: May 2006 Screenshots

Nice one cimi, but it's still in heavy development, I was just sharing what I had so far. The code in the first rezlooks.diff was really quite ugly, doing stupid things like making a gradient from one colour to the same colour instead of just drawing a flat rectangle.

I've been busy with it the last couple of days and have pretty much sorted the code out, and I'm going to make a "proper" release soon - ie a release that is just the rezlooks engine, nothing else, and that won't conflict with clearlooks on the same machine.

Watch this space wink

Re: May 2006 Screenshots

Cimi: it's available at http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show. … tent=39179 - you should probably package that rather than the clearlooks-cvs patch.
