Systemd 230 and KillUserProcesses

Systemd 230 changed 'KillUserProcesses' default value from 'no' to 'yes'.

In my logind.conf file, the value of the uncommented line remains 'no'.

Will that change?

Edit - I should have said:  'commented line'.

Re: Systemd 230 and KillUserProcesses

What?  *confused*

You uncommented the line.  You changed the file.  Are you asking if you will change that line again in the future?  How could we know?

Are you asking if pacman will overwrite your config file when an update comes?  If so, no, it will not.  But you will get a pacnew file (or similar) to merge.

Are you asking what the distant future may hold for upstream design choices?  If so, my crystal ball is in the shop.  But either way, would it matter?  If you've uncommented the line, you've made your preference explicit regardless of which way upstream goes for the default.

EDIT: Ah, sorry, this does make more sense given your edit.

Confused indeed.

I meant the line was and is commented (with a # sign) and untouched by me.
