How do I know what I have installed?

Hi,

Doing a pacman -Q gives me 1255 packages with the vast majority being installed as either the base or as dependencies.

Is there a way of knowing what I installed over the last year?

Thanks

You can list only explicitly installed packages with

pacman -Qe

Also, the man page is pretty darn good. It would tell you how to see things installed in the last year, but it will tell you how to find out what has been explicitly installed and how to find real orphans.

Edit: Ah! My surprise has been ruined sad
