Documentation for kernel upgrade

I searched the forums, wiki and documentaion page of arch for a simple howto on upgrading your kernel.I couldn't find it anywhere  roll . I think such guide could come in handy!

pacman -Syu

will upgrade ALL packages, including the kernel.

I've been using AL for about 7 months now, and estimate i have done atleast 30 kernel updates that way with only minor problems.


Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

And if you are using lilo, remember to run lilo afterwards. If there are extra stuff to check for, they are usually displayed in the post installation messages or there's something in the front page news.
