I have just instaled Arch and i have a problem with the touch-pad It behave like a graphic tablet. here i put the finger the arrow jump. Is happen independent of Desktop Manager.
I have gnome openbox and even in x had the same behavior (before I installed WM).
I don't know what to do to behave like a normal mouse
Red Button work fine the other buttons (i did not try the F buttons an BT but I don't use them often)
I like arch It give me much more freedom comparative with other distro.

Have you tried configuring it? There is an article on the wiki.

yeah I reinstall xe86-input-synaptics reboot and it it ok. In linux i am not used to do reboot so often Shame on me it took half a night to realize that. Now i have my OS of my dreams. Before the reboot I tried to configure but the same result. I tried to disable touch but it did not work until after..
Please Admins close this as solved and thank you for your answer.

No need to reboot, just restarting X would have worked.
