Scaling down interface on Retina Display

Hi together,
I have a new Laptop with HiDPI and I set the scaling factor up to 2, what is a bit to big for my taste. I tried to reduce the scaling factor for a few tenth parts by following   this instructions. This works well for the moment but after rebooting its back to scaling factor 2.
Does somebody know how to set this smaller scaling factor permanently?
