[SOLVED] Trouble getting Subwoofer to work on a Inpsiron 7559

I have a Dell Inpsiron 7559 laptop, that has a small subwoofer underneath the laptop. The top speakers work, but the only thing that doesn't work is the subwoofer.  I do not have an option for LFE in alsamixer. I'm not sure how to go about fixing this, so I was hoping someone here could help point me in the correct direction.

Sadly this did not work

I have tried "options snd-hda-intel model=asus-modeX" where is X is 1 through 8 in /etc/modprobe.d/sound, but none of the 8 worked. sad

Hello everyone.

I have found the solution for getting the subwoofer to work. Following this link, you only need to do the following:

  1. Install alsa-tools ( pacman -S alsa-tools ).

  2. Run as root hdajackretask.

  3. Check "show unconnected pins".

  4. Remap 0×1b (“Not connected”, which is the subwoofer) to “Internal speaker (LFE)”.

  5. Install boot override.

  6. Reboot.

For me so far, the subwoofer now works. I hope this do the trick for you people.

Concerning the configuration with respect to pulseaudio, I think I have the default configuration:
