Slow Plasma inicialization

I want to track down a slow inicialization after booting up.

What happens is after the grub and nvidia logo, where the Plasma loading screen should show up, there is a several seconds of black desktop with a mouse cursor. Only after that, the plasma loading screen shows up. And even after that, when the loading screen finishes, the desktop is still not loaded, still the black background, only after few seconds, the desktop background image loads, with Plasma shell another seconds after that slowly and incrementally.

I want to track down what causes those long loading times. Or at least stretch the KDE loading screen so it covers the whole loading process. Yet I'm kinda lost on where to start.

$ plasmashell --version;uname -roms
plasmashell 5.6.5
Linux 4.6.2-1-ARCH x86_64 GNU/Linux
