no cardmgr

I'm in the arch setup right now, planning to install via FTP, and it advised me to start cardmgr for my pcmcia ethernet card.  So I Alt-F2 and type cardmgr to start it ...

-sh: cardmgr: not found

Umm ... where is it? tongue

This is on 0.7.2 by the way

Re: no cardmgr

with pacman -Sy pcmciautlis you also load current package files of all repos, which is not needed if you "pacman -Syu"'ed already on that day...

Re: no cardmgr

synthhead still is in the setup, he cannot install any packages yet except into a chroot. my bet is that he doesn't even have one yet. smile

@synthhead:
although i don't like it but i would recommend to switch to cable or get a pcmcia capable live-cd such as Knoppix or Gentoo's minimal ISO. the current archlinux installers don't support it.
