No sound from speakers, only from headphones. Alienware M14X R2.

Hi,

So, as the title says, I don't have any sound from my laptop, which is a 2012 Alienware M14X R2. I use Pulseaudio.

Until a few days ago, sound was working perfectly fine, then it just stopped working, and I cannot diagnose why. It works only through my headphones now. It started working once, when I reinstalled pulseaudio, and alsa, but that trick hasn't worked since.

Interestingly, I can see the sound bar fluctuating in pavucontrol in the Output Devices tab, under Built In Analog Stereo, but it shows my Line Out as (unplugged). I have also set the applications to use the Built In Analog Stereo.

As you can see, for some reason, snd_hda_codec appears to be out of range, which is something that I find quite weird.
