Hi all,
I've been happily using LXQt for some time now, but today after an upgrade I started to have a dialog box pop up on each start saying "LXQt Power Manager has crashed too many times and has been stopped until the next login." I tried to start lxqt-powermanagement manually and it segfaulted every time. I looked at the list of recent package upgrades and, after some trial-and-error, discovered that downgrading Qt5 from 5.7.0 back to 5.6.1 solved the problem -- lxqt-powermanagement starts normally now.
I'd like to submit a bug report, but even after reading the Arch wiki page on bug reporting it isn't clear to me whether I should submit it as an Arch bug or an upstream bug, as I don't really know the ultimate cause of the bug. I do not see any relevant bug reports in either the Arch bug tracker or LXQt's git page. Advice?

Same problem here. It also happens with the music player qmmp.

It should go to Arch bug tracker. I suppose lxqt-qtplugin needs to be rebuilt.

Not seeing it from the latest git sources.
Here's an easier way to get started using the latest git sources: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=213836

lxqt-powermanagement is working here again after an update.

May this have something in common with your problem?

Sorry for the late reply, I misread the responses and mistakenly thought there was no solution here. In reality, the update of lxqt-qtplugin on June 26 was the solution. In the meantime, I've been flailing about trying to get my icons to appear correctly after downgrading back to Qt 5.6.1 -- now that I'm back on 5.7.0, everything is working fine.
It pays to read carefully....
