Can't update google-chrome

I'm using yaourt to install google-chrome. It has worked fine in the past and I'm not sure how to fix this:

loading packages...
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...
error: could not open file /var/lib/pacman/local/google-chrome-51.0.2704.84-1/desc: No such file or directory
warning: could not fully load metadata for package google-chrome-51.0.2704.84-1
error: failed to prepare transaction (invalid or corrupted package)

Thanks for any help.

Re: Can't update google-chrome

Seems like database corruption.

Try force installing, can be done safely with this package.

yaourt -S --force google-chrome

Good luck.

Re: Can't update google-chrome

That looks like your local installed package database is corrupted. You can probably just reinstall the package with the --force switch.
