Mutt - Does mutt cache any sessions/passwords ?

So, i recently changed my mail password using my mail provider's website.

With the provider's webmail application and thunderbird, now only the new password works,

But with mutt, i can still use the old one. I can't really see any reason for this on my side, really ...

Should i worry ?
