Nouveau not loading on Dell Inpsiron 7559

I have installed nouveau on my new inpsiron laptop. I also installed the intel video drivers. To use together with PRIME but when I enter poweroff it gives me this error:

[  101.653430] nouveau 0000:02:00.0: pci: failed to adjust lnktctl speed

I have to hold the powerdown button to actually get it to shut down.
The same thing happens to me when I try to run the

$ lspci | grep 3D

command.

Also when I try to run the

$ xrandr --listproviders

command form within X it only returns 1 GPU, the intel one.
