[SOLVED]Unable to install Catalyst - get xorg and xf86 conflicts

I should have done this from a  nice clean install, but I followed some instructions and then only after did I decide I wanted to install the Catalyst drivers from Vi0l0's rep.

So having add Vi0l0's rep to pacman.conf, and try to install, I get:

sudo pacman -S catalyst-hook
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...
:: xorg-server and xf86-input-evdev are in conflict. Remove xf86-input-evdev? [y/N] y
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: xorg-server: requires xf86-input-evdev

I've spent hours trawling google and never quite seem to work out what to do next.
I've followed the catalyst wiki and can't find anything to help me in there.

You need to downgrade to xf86-input-evdev 2.10.0-1 and xorg-server/xorg-server-common 1.17.4-2 before installing Catalyst. (Personally I use catalyst-test from the AUR.)

Thanks, that helped.
I ended up removing them and then installing catalyst and it reinstalled xorg for me.
