Hello,
I'm curious if I'm the only one seeing this issue, since I can't find any current topic or a bug report dealing with it (which is strange as something like this should be pretty high profile and is usually covered by people on day one, long before I happen to get to it... which to me suggests that this may possibly be just a local problem.)
Now, ever since the upgrade from gnupg-2.1.12-1 (to 2.1.13 and 2.1.14) about a month ago, PGP encryption in Gajim completely stops working for me (Gajim claims to be unable to find a running GPG agent despite the agent working 'fine' with stock gnupg-shipped utilities). Testing other PGP software that I use (gpa 0.9.9-2), I can see that GPA suddenly can't change passphrases on my keys, claiming to be failing on the gpgme library (which hasn't been updated in over half a year so that again boils down to the gnupg update).
Reverting back to gnupg-2.1.12-1 makes both PGP encryption in Gajim and GPA work fine.
Is someone else seeing PGP software suddenly failing after the mentioned update or is it just me?

Looks like Gajim was also patched upstream few days ago to work with the new gnupg:
https://trac.gajim.org/ticket/8355
Will try the fix later today, but looking at the patches, both are related to the same issue. Thanks for the pointer Scimmia.
