[SOLVED] Laptop hangs when screen is locked

Hi, when I try to lock the screen using light-locker the screen blanks and my laptop completely freezes - eg. no reaction to mouse or keyboard and running apps probably freeze as well (I have an external HDD with short suspend time, so I have a script running that periodically touches a file on it to keep it spinning and when this happens the HDD suspends after a time, therefore I conclude that the script stopped running as well).

My laptop is Dell Inspiron 7559, with intel i5-6500HQ and Nvidia 960M. I use bumblebee-git package from AUR (to work around the issue with removing the nvidia module) and nvidia proprietary drivers (nvidia package). My system is completely updated as of right now.

It used to work fine like 2 weeks ago, but after a couple of upgrades it doesn't work anymore. I even tried to downgrade nvidia-* packages and xf86-video-intel to when I think it was working, but I couldn't get it to work anyway.

Now it only works when I manually turn the nvidia card on using:

echo ON > /proc/acpi/bbswitch

which is of course very annoying and easy to forget.

Does anyone have similar issues or a solution?
Thank you.
