Using Libreoffice Impress on two screens with i3 window manager

Hey Guys,
I was really not sure where to post this question, since the softwares is probably behaving as expected. When i do an impress presentation, the presentation appears on the same screen i opened impress on. However i would like to use the note-feature of impress on my laptop screen, and have the presentation shown on another screen connected with VGA/HDMI. If i select a different screen for the presentation it does not show up, simply the note-feature appears on my laptop screen. Do you know a way how to get libreoffice running in my virtual desktop on the laptop screen while the presentation appears on the second screen?

Look up the "assign" config command in the i3 docs and play around with xprop. You should be able to automatically assign a sub window to a specific workspace.

It is still a bit odd. How do you "selevt another screen for the presentation"? Somewhere inside impress?
