I've seen other people are reporting similar problems:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=213594
But those other people somehow managed to install the base system, in my case after choosing either x86_64 or i686 architecture after short message (see below) screen goes to No signal mode and comes back black, so I assume this must be a driver problem...
Probing EDD (edd=off to disable)... ok
:: running early hook [udev]
starting version 230
:: running early hook [archiso_pxe_nbd]
:: running hook [udev]
:: Triggering uevents...
What can I do about it?
Here's my hardware:

The thread you linked to contains many recommendations, what have you tried from those? In particular you should try booting with the nomodeset parameter if it is a nouveau issue.

Note the distinction between our problems. That fellow has installed the base system and now cannot boot into it. I cannot install base system, because image fails to load.
All the recommendations on the linked thread are for the installed system, hence doesn't help me at all

Kernel_parameters so you can follow the advice in post #7 of the thread
Kernel_modules#Using_kernel_command_line_2 so you can follow the advice in post #19 of the thread

Again - base system is not yet installed, therefore there are no kernel and no kernel parameters, just broken archlinux-2016.07.01-dual.iso, which I'm willing someone will suggest how to fix...

We understand that the base system isn't installed. That doesn't prevent you from changing the kernel parameters when you boot the iso. Read the documentation linked to, don't just assume it won't help you.

I did not realise and somehow missed the fact that pressing a tab key while in the menu allows to modify boot parameters. This is really the answer that I needed. Throwing a few URLs from the thread which I've linked myself (after reading it top-to-bottom) wasn't very helpful.
Either way - booting with nomodeset finally gave me the console - cool.
