System was in the middle of an update when power went off. When I restarted it complained about libassuan.so being too short and
error: GPGME error: Invalid crypto engine
I downloaded libassuan from repos and copy the files to /usr/lib.
Then the error was
invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)
Things I've tried:
Changing SigLevel to Never. Complains about the missing signature too when installing the packages
I've removed the folder gnupg and did pacman-key --init. It complained that it could not find trusted.gpg
Any help guys?

Undo your changes to pacman.conf, boot the live ISO, mount your root partition to /mnt, and run:
# pacman -Syu # OR pacman -Sy archlinux-keyring for ISO < 10/2015
# pacman --root /mnt -Syu $(pactree -u pacman)
