The Amazon Music app is required to upload music to Amazon's cloud. I got it to install and launch in WINE. But it just loads a black window. There are widgets on the window, cause my cursor changes to an I bar as I move it around the screen. But the window is all black.
Has anyone gotten the Amazon Music app to work in WINE on Arch?

I don't have arch but I had the same problem. I got it working by setting the DirectDraw renderer to gdi instead of opengl. I used "winetricks ddr=gdi" to do this but you can also edit the registry directly as documented in https://wiki.winehq.org/Useful_Registry_Keys

I got the same problem. After installing Amazon Music player with wine and starting it with
env WINEPREFIX="/home/sebi/.wine" wine "/home/sebi/.wine/drive_c/users/sebi/AppData/Local/Amazon Music/Amazon Music.exe"
I just get a black window.
The fix with winetricks ddr=gdi or winetricks renderer=gdi does not bring positive effects.

Had the wrong wine Version, was 7.9. Now I have wine-7.17 (Staging),

You are necroing a 6 year old solved thread, chances that this situation is in any way the same or similar are quite low.
If you still have issues, open a new thread with up to date and current information.
