Re: OBS Studio crashing at startup after update

OBS 0.13.2-1 (linux)

OBS studio was moved to [community] on march 5, and is now at 0.13.4-1

Try updating your system completely, let us know if the problem still exists with that version.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?

Re: OBS Studio crashing at startup after update

I can't seem to reproduce on my end.
Is it everyone using Intel GPUs? If so, that might be a driver bug that looks like an application bug.

Did you update your system? Or just OBS Studio?

Please paste the output of `uname -a`

Re: OBS Studio crashing at startup after update

I got the same thing since like 2 weeks.
I have intel too… maybe the switch to DRI 3?
Not sure how to debug this.

Re: OBS Studio crashing at startup after update

Ok, just tried and indeed using DRI 2 fixes this crash for me.

So, where should I open a bug for this?

Re: OBS Studio crashing at startup after update

There's a possibility the bug is DRI 3 related and not intel-specific, so i'd say OBS Studio.
