I've been trying to setup my laptop with three monitors for the same desktop environment for some hours now. I've been googling a lot, and have attempted the different configurations+setups described in the arch wiki. I have still not found a solution that works. I found this https://linuxacademy.com/blog/linux/ubu … r-support/ solution for ubuntu, but I can't seem to find a similar solution for arch. Has anybody else successfuly attempted this?

I finally got it working. I got to a working solution by following https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bu … e_monitors. The step that had eluded me was to use xrandr to configure the layout afterwards, and I didn't expect that the output name would be VIRTUAL7.
