QEMU issues

So I have got QEMU setup with a Windows 10 Virtual machine, and I've immediately come across some issues.

  1. From what I have seen in guides online there should be a method of editing the VM from inside virt-manager under view -> details but alas I do not have that option

  2. Even when viewing through the HDMI input on my passed through GPU the mouse will exit any side instead of the only side where my second linux screen is. I would like to allow the mouse to only leave through the left, but if that is not possible perhaps disable it entirely.

Can anyone help me, I am really confused.

Re: QEMU issues

A possible workaround would be to use synergy and passthrough your USB Keyboard and mouse, hosting the synergy server inside the Windows VM. This will also decrease latency inside the VM, which is good if you're using the GPU passthrough to play games.

You might want a second set of keyboards and mice to use if anything goes wrong with the VM though. - I'm not sure if simply plugging them into different ports would have the same effect.

But that's just a suggestion that might help you... I'm quite the Newb myself! big_smile
