Hey there so on another post I was able to get my wifi adapter to work now I am trying it on another machine but I use a different linux kernel on it. Here is what I ahve installed
linux-ck-atom 4.6.5-2
linux-ck-atom-headers 4.6.5-2
here is what happens when I try to install the mt7610u_sta-dkms-git package
:: Processing package changes...
(1/1) installing mt7610u_sta-dkms-git [######################] 100%
==> NOTE: The module is named mt7610u_sta . Use modprobe to load it without restarting.
:: Running post-transaction hooks...
(1/1) Install DKMS modules
==> No kernel 4.6.4-1-ARCH headers. You must install them to use DKMS!
==> No kernel 4.6.4-1-ck headers. You must install them to use DKMS!
==> No kernel 4.6.5-2-ck modules. You must install them to use DKMS
I am unsure but do I need to modify the PKGBUILD file to accept my atom headers?
I love computers, networking and Arch Linux. Sometimes I might ask a stupid question, but please have grace with me like I would with you.
