Login with GPG passphrase

Hello.
I use GPG a lot so I need to enter my passphrase many times (even though I use gpg-agent).
My issue is that to login on my desktop, I need to enter my user password, then my passphrase.
I wonder if I could only enter my passphrase to go to my desktop.
An idea could be that my user password is encrypted using my public key so I would only need to enter my passphrase.
Are there any support for this using a display manager?
Do you have any other idea that would allow me to only enter my passphrase (my passphrase is needed after login)?
Thanks.

Re: Login with GPG passphrase

I only find something about libpam-poldi to achieve what you want. But you need a gpg smartcard such as removable media storing your encrypted private key, so that the system will know you are there when you provide the gpg smartcard and the passphrase.

Haven't tested it personally, though.

If you want to know, read more here

Re: Login with GPG passphrase

You may use GnuK to create your own GnuPG smartcard.

Re: Login with GPG passphrase

Thanks but I don't want to use a smartcard.

Re: Login with GPG passphrase

I have two ideas but I don't know if they are currently possible.

Would it be possible to change the password of my user to my passphrase and automatically sent it to gpg on login?
If not, would it be possible to auto-login and automatically lock the screen in a way that would require the passphrase to unlock (instead of the password)?

Thanks.
