Make Chromium first start faster

I noticed that Chrome on Windows is A LOT faster than on Arch on the first run. When I open it up on my desktop it takes 4-5 seconds to start on linux vs. 2 seconds (max) on Windows... I guess that's because Chrome "preloads" itself in RAM on Windows startup. Is it possible on linux too? I'm using GNOME, I was searching for a command-line option to run a headless chrome (no UI, just the engine) during session startup but I found nothing.

Yes, I used preload on Gentoo but I thought Chromium had something like that on its own.

Chromium does not have something like that on its own....

Preload is fine for this.
if you want you can write a daemon that detects when it launches and automatically lowers its `nice` level to something like -5
