Prevent a package being upgraded

Hi guys.

I have to use an old version of the Free Pascal Compiler for compatibility reasons.  Is there a way i can make a package to NOT be upgraded?

I download the required version for archive.archlinux.org and installed it with Pacman -U

Is there a way I can tell pacman to NOT upgrade a manually installed package when i perform a -Syu ?

EDIT: Found out how to do it.  There's an ignore section in /etc/pacman.conf

There is, but don't be surprised when it breaks. Partial updates are not supported.

Don't forget to mark the thread as solved.
