Re: Cimi's Desktop Repo (amsn-cvs, amule-cvs, xara-lx ecc...)

cimi, sorry to trouble you, but does you amsn-cvs work well for you?  I had trouble with tls but finally was able to resolve that to get the released amsn working.  Then, when I installed your amsn-cvs, I got the same old tls download error(ie it's not seeing it).  Do you know if a special cvs version is needed?
Thanks for the excellent repo.

Amsn downloaded the tls package at the first start

Re: Cimi's Desktop Repo (amsn-cvs, amule-cvs, xara-lx ecc...)

Just some quick feedback

the new gnome-menus-alacarte-patched and alacarte packages were not successful on my machine.

Gnome-menus is okay but Alacarte is buggy. Unable to make new entry/menu items and changes to menu selections/items don't appear until new gnome session.

Have moved back to alacarte 8.2 and gnome-menus 2.13.5 for now.

Try compiling it yourself from the PKGBUILDs in the AUR. If it does not work, please post the error it gives on the command line to the AUR page of alacarte.
It is working for me. I can't fix it if I don't know it errors on people (and what errors of course). Thanks

Re: Cimi's Desktop Repo (amsn-cvs, amule-cvs, xara-lx ecc...)

Is this repo still up and running???

This is what I get on pacman -Sy :

 :: Synchronizing package databases...
redirection not supported

failed downloading /cimi86/arch/i686/cimi.db.tar.gz from www.webalice.it: HTTP/1.1 302 Found

failed to synchronize cimi
error: could not open sync database: cimi
       have you used --refresh yet?

March Linux : An Arch Linux "distrolet" that I am trying to develop (March = My Arch!)
Please take a look......:)
