I think I may have to use ABS to do my install but thought I might ask before I do so if there is
a repository of older pacman install files I could use to install 0.27?
Have been searching and have found nothing nor any mention of such a thing.

works great here, added a few symm links but documented them to make sure my future self did not forget what I did.
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libass.so.5 /usr/lib/libass.so.4
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libx264.so /usr/lib/libx264.so.133
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libvpx.so.4 /usr/lib/libvpx.so.1
Fired up great (mythfrontend only)
My backend is a different physical machine.
